Your Right to Cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving any reason.
What Cannot Be Returned
The following are exempt from our returns policy:
- Roasted coffee and other perishable food items — by their nature, these cannot be returned once dispatched
- Gift cards
- Downloadable digital content once accessed
Conditions for Return
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- Unused and in its original condition
- In its original, undamaged packaging
- Accompanied by proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation)
Please do not return any item directly to the manufacturer.
Partial Refunds
A partial refund may be granted in the following circumstances:
- Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged, or is missing parts for reasons not attributable to our error
- Any item returned more than 14 days after delivery

Return Shipping Costs
You are responsible for the cost of return shipping. Return postage is non-refundable. If a refund is approved, the cost of return shipping will not be reimbursed and will be deducted from your refund where applicable.
For items valued over £20, we strongly recommend using a tracked service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit to us.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you to confirm receipt and let you know whether your refund has been approved.
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods. Depending on your bank or card provider, it may take a few additional business days to appear on your statement.
If you believe your refund is overdue, we suggest:
- Checking your bank account or card statement
- Contacting your card provider — posting times vary
- Contacting your bank directly
If you have done all of the above and still have not received your refund, please get in touch at shop@plotroasting.com.
Sale Items
Only full-price items are eligible for a refund. Items purchased at a reduced or sale price cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We replace items only if they arrive defective or damaged. To request an exchange, email shop@plotroasting.com with your order details and a description of the fault.
Gift Returns
If an item was marked as a gift at the time of purchase and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit to the value of the returned item once it is received by us.
If the item was not marked as a gift, or was shipped to the purchaser first, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.
